Pick a date. We will do the rest.
Live diary for the next six weeks. Choose a session that suits and send it through — we contact the other party, arrange both pre-meetings, and confirm in writing before anything is locked in.
Nothing on this page charges you or commits you. Selecting a time sends an enquiry, not a booking.
This is a preview build. The calendar shows indicative availability and selecting a time sends an enquiry rather than reserving the slot — we confirm every mediation personally. To book immediately, call (02) 8542 5837.

Why nothing is available this week
A mediation needs about two weeks of run-up.
The joint session is the last step, not the first. Before it happens we have to reach the other party, meet each of you separately, and give you time to assemble documents. A calendar offering tomorrow would be advertising something that cannot actually be delivered.
- 01
We contact the other party
Usually the slowest step, and entirely outside our control. Some people respond the same day; some take a fortnight; some decline, in which case you receive a certificate recording that.
- 02
Separate pre-meetings
An hour with each of you, privately. Preparation, the document list, and a frank view of what a court would likely do with the matter.
- 03
Documents exchanged
Particularly for property. Arriving at a financial mediation without disclosure complete is the single most common reason a day is wasted.
- 04
The session you picked
By then everyone knows what is in dispute, what the options are, and what the alternative looks like. That is why mediations settle.
What it costs
Fixed fees, agreed before anything is booked.
Quoted as a fixed fee for the whole process rather than billed by the hour — which also means nobody is paying for the mediation to run long.
- First call
- Twenty minutes to establish whether mediation suits your matter at all. No obligation to book anything afterwards.
- No charge 20 min
- Intake & pre-meeting
- Per party, held separately and confidentially, and scheduled around both diaries once a joint session is confirmed. Charged on its own so that if either of you decides not to continue, there is no cost for a joint session that was never going to work.
- $385 1 hour
- Parenting-only session
- Three hours, children’s matters only, no lawyers attending. Includes both pre-meetings and reading time.
- $2,200 3 hours
- Half-day mediation
- Four hours. Suits a focused dispute, or parenting and property together where the asset pool is straightforward.
- $2,650 4 hours
- Full-day mediation
- Seven hours. The usual choice where lawyers attend, where a business or trust is involved, or where you want everything resolved in one sitting.
- $4,950 7 hours
All figures include GST and cover the practitioner’s reading time and both pre-meetings. Fees are shared equally between the parties unless you agree otherwise, and are payable before the joint session. Room hire is paid to the venue and is separate — currently $460 to $500 for the day, depending which of the three you choose, and nothing at all if the session runs online. Everything is confirmed in writing in your costs agreement before anything is booked.
What every venue gives you
Neutral ground, and a room each.
Mediations are held in dedicated dispute-resolution venues, not in a solicitor’s meeting room. Neutral ground matters more than most people expect — nobody should be negotiating in the other side’s building, and nobody should be negotiating in ours either.
-
A room each
Shuttle as standard
Every venue here provides a main room plus private breakout rooms, so a session can switch to shuttle at any point without rearranging the day. Arrival and departure are staggered where needed, so the parties need never meet — including in the corridor.
-
Separate waiting
No shared lobby
Nobody sits in a public reception next to the person they are in dispute with. It sounds minor until it has happened to you; it sets the tone for the entire day.
-
Video conferencing
Teams, Zoom, phone
For a party interstate or overseas, a solicitor appearing remotely, or a valuer joining for twenty minutes. Fully online and hybrid mediations are also available at no venue cost.
-
Accessible and central
All three in the CBD
Lift access throughout and close to public transport. Tea, coffee and water provided — a full day runs seven hours and nobody negotiates well hungry.
Not sure which session you need?
Most people are not, and it is not a decision you should have to make from a price list. The twenty-minute call sorts it out — parenting or property, half day or full, and whether mediation is the right instrument at all.
